EMC Technician


 


Team Horizon is seeking a EMC Technician for a leading manufacturing company in North Galway.


The EMC technician will oversee performing EMC tests on several product lines.

What you will be doing:



  • Analyzing the EMC test plan to setup the test and apply the relevant parameters.

  • Perform the EMC tests and analyze the results after each sweep.

  • Insure the good quality level of tests performed.

  • Communicate daily the results and analysis to project team.

  • Write the final report to formalize the conformity judgement.

  • Verify that the samples and all additional equipment are compliant to the request.

  • Insure the quality of the tests performed and the correct analysis.

  • Write reports and verify reports from other members.

  • Communicate daily the results of tests performed.

  • Respect the processes defined to be compliant to ISO17025 accreditation.

  • Declare any process malfunction with the QRQC tool, and put in place the right corrections.

  • Participate actively to continuous improvement, taking in charge improvement projects linked to testing process, equipment, 5S, etc.

  • Respect the objective defined for the setup time.

  • Insure the delivery of reports in time, at the good quality level.

  • Report the good practices to be deployed within the Service Line.

  • All other duties as requested or assigned.


 


What you need to apply:



  • Technical Training Diploma/Degree e.g., Electronic Training, Physics & Instrumentation, Mechatronics.

  • Have Technician experience in Electronics / RF microwavesAt least 2 years in EMC testing.

  • Junior technician can be accepted if he/she shows good mindset / motivation.
