Team Horizon is seeking a Senior Manager - Visual Inspection for our client in Mayo. The Senior Manager Visual Inspection is responsible for overseeing the visual inspection process in the manufacturing facility.


 


The senior manager is responsible for ensuring that the visual inspection process meets quality standards and is completed on time and within budget. The senior manager is responsible for managing the visual inspection team and working closely with other departments to ensure all products are inspected and released on time

What you will be doing:



  • Develop and implement visual inspection processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality for both commercial and NPI products.

  • Manage the visual inspection team, including hiring and evaluating employees.

  • Meet with other departments to coordinate visual inspection schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.

  • Ensure that visual inspection process meets quality standards and regulations.

  • Develop, maintain and review visual inspection limits

  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies


 


What you need to apply:



  • Level 8/ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering or Science related field or equivalent relevant experience. 

  • 5+ years of experience in management in a GMP function ideally in a visual inspection role 

  • Strong knowledge of visual inspection materials and processes. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strong leadership and management skills. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for packaging. 

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
