Team Horizon is seeking a Manufacturing Support Team Lead for our client based in Sligo. As a Manufacturing Support team lead you will oversee and supervise the execution of equipment preparation in our Biologics department including area preparation, material transfer and support processing activities in the biologics fill finish facility to meet clearly stated operating objectives.


 


This role is working on an 8 Hour Night Shift pattern so flexibility to work this shift is essential for those applying for this role.

What you will be doing:



  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the operations team, ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and operational requirements.

  • Operational Excellence: Drive operational efficiency, quality, and compliance.

  • Safety and Compliance: Prioritize safety, conduct safety Gembas, and ensure adherence to EHS standards and regulations.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and participate in audits.

  • Employee Development: Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.


 


What you need to apply:



  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience in a similar role within a GMP Environment Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements relating to this role.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the principles of contamination control and regulatory expectations for aseptic processing.

  • Technical background in pharmaceutical, biologics, or similar industries  

  • Qualifications   BSc Level 8 in relevant discipline (Science, Engineering)
