Senior Project Manager
Team Horizon is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a leading manufacturing company in Mayo
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role involves coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

What you will be doing:
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.
- Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
- Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
- Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment.
- Develop & conduct quality inspections during the construction phase of projects.
- Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Lead project teams to achieve deliverables, ensuring practicality and efficiency.
- Monitor and track the progress of projects.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Handle change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure objectives are achieved.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and any issues.
- Financial Oversight:
- Develop project budgets and ensure that projects stay within financial constraints.
- Conduct cost analysis and resource leveling.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

What you need to apply:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a formal qualification in Project Management, or related field. PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the relevant field.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools (MS Project).
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with an eye for detail and a commitment to service excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
